The following road closures will be in place for filming on 10th and 11th March:

From 19:00hrs on the 10 March 2022 until 06:00hrs on the 11 March 2022 - Prohibition of vehicle movements, any direction

  • Crown Street between Clyde Street and Ballater Street (Albert Bridge) 

From 22:00hrs on the 10 March 2022 until 06:00hrs on the 11 March 2022 - Prohibition of vehicle movements, temporary stop and hold with traffic management 3 minutes maximum

  • Saltmarket between Greendyke Street and Clyde Street

UPDATED - Late night Filming on Parnie St/Saltmarket

Filming will be taking place on Parnie St/Saltmarket from 17th - 21st January, including late night filming:

  • MONDAY 17TH JANUARY- 09:00- 19:00
  • TUESDAY 18TH JANUARY - 10:00- 20:00
  • WEDNESDAY 19TH JANUARY - 15:30- 01:30
  • THURSDAY 20TH JANUARY - 12:30- 22:30
  • FRIDAY 21ST JANUARY - 15:30 - 01:30

Roads around King St/Parnie St/Osborne St will be closed to traffic from 4th - 25th January. There will be additional closures and parking bay suspensions during the filming period, affecting Bell St, Walls St, High St and Albion St

Road closures and parking suspensions

Pedestrian access to shops and homes will be maintained during this time. For the 5 filming days, there will be an increased level of security personnel as well as marshals to help direct people around the crew or escorting through when necessary to ensure a safe passage around us during certain filming sequences.

Advance Notice - Filming around Parnie St and Glasgow Cross, January 2022

Filming will be taking place between Wednesday 12th and Thursday 20th January. There will be various road closures around those dates, and there will be disruption in the run up to filming, whilst set dressing and other activities are completed. More information will be provided closer to the date.

Filming in Glasgow - update

18 August 2020

As lockdown restrictions begin to ease, film productions are looking to resume works across the country, however, as there are still restrictions / quarantine on travel to / from other countries Glasgow City Council has seen a significant increase in filming requests from productions that want to stay and film in the UK.

As we become aware of approved requests affecting the MCTCC area, details will be published on our website.
