M8 WOODSIDE VIADUCT: A804 DOBBIE’S LOAN OVERNIGHT WORKS COMMENCE 7th JUNE

Amey, on behalf of Transport Scotland, are undertaking overnight works on the eastbound A804 Dobbie’s Loan, between Garscube Roundabout and Port Dundas Road, as part of the ongoing maintenance of the M8 Woodside Viaducts Junction 16 to 17. This work will take place between 8pm and 6.30am, each night, on Tuesday 7th June and Wednesday 8th June 2022. Similar closures will take place on Wednesday 15th and Thursday 16th June and on Sunday 19th and Monday 20th June 2022.

The road will re-open and operate as normal outwith these times. Westbound traffic will be unaffected by this work.

During these closures a drilling rig will be installed to create bore holes as part of the ongoing investigation and maintenance scheme. A signed diversion will be in operation while this work is taking place.

Eastbound traffic will be diverted from the A81 Garscube Road to Cowcaddens Road and then onto the eastbound A804 at Port Dundas Road where the diversion will end.

Please Note: This route will not be open to emergency service vehicles while this work is taking place, and these vehicles are required to follow the signed diversion.
