EXPANSION JOINT REPLACEMENTS ON THE M8 AT THE KINGSTON COMPLEX AND SCOTLAND STREET BRIDGE CONTINUES MONDAY 21st FEBRUARY
Amey, on behalf of Transport Scotland as part of the Network Management Contract for the South-West Trunk Road Unit, are undertaking essential bridge expansion joint replacements on the M8 at Kingston Complex from Monday 21st to Friday 25thFebruary 2022, between the hours of 8pm and 6am, each night.
Westbound works continue on Monday 21st February and will affect westbound traffic. A nearside lane closure on M8 will be implemented at Junction 19 Anderston off slip. Traffic will cross Kingston Bridge and will be diverted off the M8 at Junction 20 West St. Traffic from the A814 Clydeside Expressway will cross Kingston bridge before being diverted off the M8 at Junction 20 West St. Traffic will divert as follows: West St – Wallace St – Dalintober St – and re-join the M8 west bound at junction 21. M8 junction 19 on ramps at Newton St and Waterloo will be closed. Diversions for both are St Vincent St – Finnieston St – Govan Road – Paisley Rd West – Tradeston St – Nelson St – Patterson St – follow M8 junction 21 permanent signs.
