Ingram St/Queen St Bus Gate Active from 11th May
The Westbound bus gate at the junction of Ingram and Queen Streets will be active from Monday 11th May. It will be in operation from 7am to 7pm, Monday to Sunday, and can only be used by Buses, taxis, cycles and commercial vehicles. When it is operational, the westbound routes for all other traffic from the Merchant City will be Glassford St > Stockwell St > Howard St > Clyde Street, or High St > Saltmarket > Clyde St. Remember that work will also start on the Stockwell St Avenue project in the near future.
To compound this, the south side of George Square between Cochrane St and Queen St will close the same day for an unspecified period whilst the road surface is relaid. All buses/taxis that currently use that route will be using Ingram St.
